An audition for one counts as an audition for both. Vicky and Lexy have been together for so long that they alternate sentences when talking to someone else. They are rarely seen apart.

Back in the day, they were technicals (corporate soldiers like Franklin), now they are nomads moving from job to job after a failed attempt at a better life (thwarted by events out of their control). In their S1 appearance, they mainly hold up a mirror to Franklin’s doubts about his future. They have a more proactive role in later seasons.
Line setting: A noisy bar interior, stormy outside. You've introduced yourselves to Franklin, recognising another ex-corp soldier when you see one and have been shooting the breeze over a beer. You've moved on to telling the story how you lost your ranch and ended up as nomads.
