Lesley is quite emotionally vulnerable and uses Anime and other pieces of Japanese culture as an escape from her insecurities. From learning a lot about Japanese culture she became an Otaku and uses a lot of Japanese phrases alongside her regular conversations. This can become very annoying and hard to bear but other them that she is very kind and looks out for others.
