If you don't already know who Shadow is I'm gonna put his character bio from Sonic Heroes for safe keeping. And Sonic channel for a solidified view. I already do the voice of Shadow but if you can do a better one then me (which isn't very hard) be my guest my voice isn't that good any way.

Shadow the Hedgehog (?)

A black hedgehog that bears a striking resemblance to Sonic and is as fast as Sonic. He is the ultimate life form created by the genius scientist of the 20th century, Professor Gerald, and is endowed with an immortal body and the power of “Chaos Control,” a special ability to distort time and space using Chaos Emeralds. 

Since the fall of the Colony ARK (*Sonic Adventure 2), it was unknown whether he was alive or dead, but he was found by Rouge at Eggman’s base. 

After being released from the capsule, he has lost most of his previous memories.

Solebinku's Personal Direction:

With Shadow take a very anime approach with your take with someone like Sasuke and less Vegeta. Shadow has a tenor voice but makes it sound deeper due to being emo lol. But don't make him have some crazy deep voice though it's sounds off lol. He's only that deep due to sounding kind of unnatural/robotic but his actual voice is till in there. He only speaks in his normal voice in rare instances when he opens up, usually thinking about his identity or talking to Maria so it's rare lately. Don't add gravel to him make him sound as clean as possible kind of showing effort but also showing he's got this.

Overall you'll just understand more when you look at the games or the voice his voice and screams are very full and calm and collected. He's a very serious character with a no nonsense view and he's very quiet.
