If you don't already know who Jet is I'm gonna put his character bio from Sonic Channel for safe keeping.
Sonic Channel:
Known as the “Legendary Wind Master,” he is the leader of the Babylon Rogues. His Extreme Gear technique is No. 1 of all time.
He considers himself a hardcore “bad boy.” He is proud, competitive, and does not want others to see him looking uncool. As a leader, he is highly aware that he must lead his team and has strong pulling power, but he is also saved by his team members, who are very open-minded.
He has a rivalry with Sonic, who is known as the fastest one on earth.

Jet is an easy one he's a cool anime dude. Who talks loudly in a cocky way who's a tenor. He isn't like Jason's Jet who's trying to be a hawk. He's mostly a cool dude who's overconfident but is also a chill teen away from his responsibilities. He has squawking tendencies but that's usually when he's angry or irked.
So listen to the Japanese and you'll get what I mean when I say he's cool. He is the Legendary Wind Master after all.
