The third of the Council of Seven. Evem is part of the Jezade {Shade} race, being comprised entirely out of shadows and capable of shaping himself in any sort of way he wants to. Evem out of all the council finds shame in his lack of a proper identity, being indistinguishable from any other Jezade at all, and is a rarity in finding himself awful and worthless. He wears a distinctive mask that warps and changes to his own mood and his minions all in turn wear masks that hide whatever facial features they may have, despite the fact almost all Jezades are capable of appearing however they want. Evem has a deep admiration for beauty and culture that can come across as obsessive at times.

  • “The curvature in your face is… exquisite. I could run my fingers along them for hours. I trust you won’t mind if I do do that? Of course not. You aren’t going anywhere obviously.”

  • “Have you noticed the way you hold your wrist when you’re concerned? It’s admirable. You have to stop yourself from fighting because you know you will if someone threatens your ‘friends’. I wish I felt things. Had reasons to fight,”

  • “You’re frightened of me. I can feel it in your breath. Is it uncomfortable to have your face so close to mine? Someone you don’t know, someone you don’t trust? Or is it really… That you’re afraid of the intimacy? The potential of someone being this deep into the space you call your own? Perhaps I could even see your thoughts if I focus hard enough.”

Positively unnerving! It would be my pleasure to extend you a Callback for the part of Evem. You can find a bit more info on this in the last couple updates. In preparing for the additional material, do try to speak up a bit. The quietness is a very nice touch and a definitive part of the character, but we do have to be able to understand what you're saying at the very least without either subtitles or cranking my volume to 90%. (Which I actually did have to do to listen to this.)

Thank you for the opportunity! I'm brand new to voice acting, so I'm happy that I made a good impression (sans volume issue, of course)! :)
