A wild and ambitious engineer who constantly fantasizes about leaving her home of Quimaf and pursuing far greater things than their pointless tower to the sky. She and the other members of Quimaf are almost all part of the Jemku, {Tengu/Avian} bird-like humanoids who lost their ability to fly in a mythic legend passed on within their people. While many Jemku are very studious and patient, Kerian is often brash and quick to become bored, wanting to see more immediate results of her own work and in this effort, often rushes her own designs leading to mishaps and malfunctions; and above all, a nasty reputation among her fellows. She ignores and derides them however as foolish and jade. Possesses a wily Scottish-like accent.

  • “Eh… Eeeeeeehhh, you uh… can’t make an omelette without crackin’a couple a’ eggs! This is a natural part of the process, I wasn’t even close to done! Just wanted… ta see how the ignition shaft would pressurize, aye.”

  • “I am a doer! I want people ta know the name’a’Kerian Willow and think ‘that’s someone who changed Qumak permanently.’ So no! I’m not a team player. I admit that! I will make things happen on ma own, and none’a’you are holdin’ me back!”

  • “It is… a Jemku much like maself who cost our people their ability ta fly. Sometimes that keeps me up at night. Makes me question whether the others are right. But I can’t ‘elp who I am. I can’t sit back and wait fer others to bring about change. My mind tells me, I have ta be the one to do it.”

Fantastic! It would be my pleasure to extend you a Callback for the part of the Kerian. You can find a bit more info on this in the last couple updates. In preparing for the additional material, try to naturalize the accent just a little bit more. It is not an easy accent to do without a lot of practice and all three of the auditioners here have my absolute respect in having had the guts and determination to do it. Just gotta keep practicing!
