HW Review
Hey Bryce! It's awesome to hear you applying the points I brought up in your last review. This script flowed much more naturally and worked well with your strong projection! I think this is a great script for you.
Let's polish this performance up even more and talk about pacing. So you've got the articulation, the projection, and you're speaking much more naturally than your previous submission without losing the other two factors. Time to bring in pacing, or the "speed of your read".
Start working on varying up the pacing when you're running through a script. If the pacing is too consistent, a script like this can start to sound like it's "dragging on" and it will start to lose the attention of the listener. Practice speeding up and slowing down within the script to create a more engaging scene. Change up the energy, the highs and lows, the excitement and disappointment, ect. to add interest!
Onto the main focus of this homework, the pronunciation. You did mispronounce most of the names listed in this script. As a reminder, google (or whatever your preferred search engine is) is your friend. Even if you think you might be right, if it's a name or a word you aren't familiar with, look it up! You'll save yourself a lot of work in the future if you start picking up the habit of looking up pronunciations now.
I can hear that you are making progress. Keep up the good work!
*EXTRA
Per the homework instructions, please provide who the audience is that you are speaking to in this script. You can reply with your answer in the comments.
I realized the morning after i forgot to add my audience in the comments; was gonna add from my phone but forgot thank you; i was thinking of typical sport fans. I will look up names from now on; i was fairly confident i knew how to pronounce except for one that i looked up but thank you for calling me out!
