Kia is the King's mercenary searching for Pomparthian rebels.
She is tall, and muscular, and worked for King Vinsent's father in his later years, and continued working for Vinsent. She keeps her black hair in a long, smooth braid, but that is all that is smooth about her. Her face is covered with burns and is permanently maimed. She has no control over the right side of her face. It is unclear what happened to Kia or where she came from. All that is clear is that she is a killer, and if you ever see the left corner of her mouth smile, it is too late to run.
Kia finds Wolf's voice diary a year after the Database is shot and after Wolf escapes from Pompartha, but that is another story. She records her own voice over Wolf's records starting episode 4 or 5. Her records are a bit of a time jump in each episode since Wolf does not escape Pompartha until episode 10.
Wolf. W-O-L-F. Like the dog? That’s what you call yourself. A dog.
You see, Wolf. I’ve been tracking you for some days now and you seemed to have dropped this. It repeats every word you spoke...even a year ago, when you say the, what’s it called, Database died.
I don’t understand some of your language. But I do understand one thing: You’re a Pomparthian Rebel. You may have come from Eskor, but you chose Pompartha. What you chose is in your skin no matter what runs in your blood.
(Inhale) and...dog, I see your skin. I am going to tear it from your bones. Like I was hired to do.
And I don’t have to find you.
I already have.
Oh, Wolfie, I’m going to get a hell of a paycheck for you.
