Angelica Ryunkian is the thirdinary main character of the Hansoku Story series. She is a sage of Hansoku, as well as the creator of the new found world of fantasy that is separate of reality. She sometimes stays in Ryuno Village with Ace and Arielle, her two nieces. She is also the creator of the Grand Ryunkian Barrier, a great barrier within the village. Whenever a calamity befalls her beloved Hansoku, she sends her two guardians to solve the problem while she stays behind the scenes and watches from afar, and steps in when necessary or when she wants to. Angelica's abilities are a bit of a mystery. Her most notable abilities is a white and gold hand fan, which is capable of complete destruction with just one swing. Magic wise, she seems to create magical portal rifts to go anywhere, even outside of Hansoku. They can be used in battle as well to disarm or even kill an opponent. She is also associated with the Ryunkian Flower, a powerful symbol that represents her village. She's capable of creating and manipulating anything fantasy like or part of Hansoku, the world they reside in. She is also self aware that she is a fictional character in a fictional world that she created, which she takes great pride in. Angelica is enigmatic and mysterious, she keeps to herself most of the time and barely talks about herself, yet she is outgoing and has a calm, kept demeanor. She is refined, elegant, and wise. She frequently sleeps in her own dimension she created in her dimensions of portals, and often sends her personal apprentice or Anyuka, her own pixie to run errands and keep an eye out in Hansoku for any danger. She is also highly intelligent and cunning, and can read almost anyone like the back of her hand. Angelica is exceptionally smart, she has a grand talent for creating complex calculations and plans strategically. Despite her old age, she is seen to also be whimsical and playful and enjoys pulling a few pranks, such as swiping or messing a few things around through her portal rifts or causing small inconveniences, even scares the residents of Hansoku, mainly her nieces or even her personal servants. Her actions are rarely harmful. Angelica is also a very powerful manipulative mastermind, most of the times manipulating situations and people to her advantage, and even indirectly handles problems by having others solve them for her, since she prefers to stay out of said situation and not act directly unless the situation is dire, or even in rare times if she wants to be involved. Angelica has a dual nature, she can been interpreted as both malevolent or benevolent based on her actions. While she can act selfish and is very schemeful, she loves Hansoku with all of her being and will protect her fantasy world and the beings in it. Due to her deceptive mannerisms, fickleness and lying nature, she has a negative and feared reputation, especially this part of her is boosted by her nieces being affected by her actions. Despite this, she accepts this part of her and cultivates it to maintain and keep her mysterious image of absolute power, control and fear. Even though Angelica is distant, she shows affection for her two servants and her nieces and cares for them deeply and sometimes goes out of her way to do something motherly like for them. She also shows the same care for the residents of Hansoku, aiding them in battle, protecting and providing for them.
