They try put the Mario Brothers in danger to try get them out of the way.

    you see, entering the forbidden gold mine's a severe crime. 
    (Mario pleads, only for a sly response that mocks him)
    That reminds me, the special wedding between Princess Peach and King Koopa is tonight. 
    It is sure to be a beautiful and sacred ceremony~ (Chuckles)

    This Hammer Brother here's a great guard you know, best not to cause trouble!
