He's a ruthless, paranoid politician with a smile on his face as he shows each of his victims just where they went wrong. 

He is an older person, in his early 50s but he doesn't sound that old. 

In regards to the lines . First and second lands say normally, but the third line he is serious and offended.

    wife’s the same way, she absolutely deplores the summer weather, I don’t blame
    her and the kids eagerly leaving for the coast during June and July... you should
    too, you work too hard, you deserve a break every now and again

    remember how Mother and Father were, they were so cold to one another, Father
    rarely showed her affection and mother barely spoke 2 words to him… I always
    thought he was bastard for it… until I knew what Uncle Bolin did… do you
    remember?
