Dishonored 2 Hypercut Challenge Run
Mercy for Emily Kaldwin
For context to Emily's story, I made a Dishonored 1 challenge run where I could not touch anybody with either myself or my sword. The story of this video was a bit nonsensical, but it ended with the interaction between the player and the player's in-game daughter, Emily Kaldwin, being a negative one. Emily Kaldwin, taken hostage by a loyalist traitor to the main protagonist Corvo Attano, fell off of a large, metal watch tower, presumably to her death.
Given she is the main character of Dishonored 2 by my choice, the story revolves around her plot to get revenge on her father, Corvo Attano, in a way that she is satisfied by. However, one day, a witch named Delilah Copperspoon shows up and causes a lot of issues with her plans, and so Emily goes on a journey of self-realization and forgiveness in order to ensure her future is as she decides, unlike what had happened to her in Dishonored 1.
There will be vocal direction in the text, but I am always open to offering additional vocal direction if it is required.

[speak in a reminiscent tone; monotone, as if staring into the horizon] The last thing I remember was that weightless sensation you feel in your stomach while falling. The men that I had trusted more than most… betrayed me, taking me hostage. Then, the man I trusted more than anyone watched as I fell to my death. Except, I didn’t die.
[Whimsical, as if daydreaming of a beautiful place] Post this cat when the entities come forth.
[On the verge of tears] Father, I have… so much to make up for.
