The resident medical examiner in a small town. Very dry, clinical but not unfriendly. Someone very nice that doesn't smile. This character will be at one point imitated by something inhuman, part of which is the last line.

OPTIONAL
I have a reference for his voice in mind, however despite the YouTube video being explicitly educational, its a video of an actual medical examiner explaining his work.  Because of that there are glimpses of real dead bodies, so I'm not going to put that video link here for people to click on casually. If you've read this far, I trust you understand the subject matter. The title of the video is 'Follow a medical examiner during an autopsy | tape's rolling!' by twin cities PBS. The first 6 minutes will give you the voice reference, with nothing medical shown if you want to avoid that altogether.

  • If he'd been on beta blockers or a muscle relaxant it could take longer. Besides its been in the low 30s all day, cold temperature can delay onset. Was he in any odd position when you found him?

  • The liver weighs approximately 1700 grams and has an intact capsule with hepatic tissue underneath appearing healthy and a uniform reddish-brown. Period. On sectioning the tissue is soft with well defined structure and typical bile ducts and vasculature. Period.

  • Of course I'm Jim. Come here, I have the lights switch in my hand. I can show you. Period.
