Shiggy is another orphan who is good friends with Riko and Nat. He's intelligent and generally non-confrontational and thus makes a pretty good mediator, but doesn't really tolerate ignorance. He's happy to see Riko off into the Abyss and is excited to see what news she sends up by mail balloon.


Even moreso than Nat, Shiggy would best be served by a female voice actor. His voice is fairly high for a boy but still needs a tinge of boyishness. His role isn't very difficult, as it's mostly exposition and general conversation. His Japanese voice actor is Manami Numakara.

  • (General exposition) Mmhm, we wouldn't be able to sneak into the usual Gate to the Netherworld. Rumor has it the wharf quarter has its own entrance into the Abyss.

  • (Exposition, but in a way that shows he likes sharing his knowledge) Not even the White Whistles can guarantee their mail will make it to the surface. There's a lot of things that can go wrong. Bad winds, flying predators...

  • (A little excited, a little worried, speaking over loud wind but not yelling) Stay safe down there! And if you wanna come back up, we'll understand!
