Batman: Shadows Over Gotham | A Fan-Made Audio Drama
Taka for Joker
The laughing man himself. In our reimagined universe, Joker has developed a cult following in the wake of his initial reign of terror on Gotham. Though he's presently locked away in Arkham Asylum, his toxic influence over Gotham's people is not only still felt, it grows. Especially among young people. He's sort of like an infinitely deadlier, more psychotic version of Andrew Tate, stuffed into a garish purple suit, wielding chemical weapons and a tommy gun.
He's charismatic, bombastic, and extremely dangerous. Everything he says should carry the idea that he knows far more than he's letting on. Like he's the only one in on the joke-- and he knows that anyone else who figures it out will lose their minds-- if he doesn't kill them first.
Very open to interpretation with this one! I know Mark Hamill is the gold standard, but feel free to draw on other versions, or go for something entirely new, if you'd like! Very excited to see what people come up with for our Mistah J!

That's-- that's it? All these long nights since you put me in here, and it's not "Hey, Uncle J! You're looking well! You been workin' out? How're the kids? How's the wife? Still good and dead with that handy-dandy car exhaust snaked down her mouth and out the back of her? (Laughing) Oh my, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I kill me. And lots of others, too.
You want to be the hero, Batman? You want to know the truth? Look to the heart of our dear girl Gotham. Look into the blood within her veins. That's where you'll find the truth. The real truth.
*Your best Joker laugh. Start low, and build it up into something wild and unhinged*
