The Assassin & The Queen
Aster for Advisor Cren
The Queen is sitting around a long table in debate with an upstart Lord Wilthas and his advisor, Cren. They have been arguing for some time in Wilthas' manor, all within his demesne.
Cren was previously a trusted part of the queen's itinerary, but was forced to step down. He cares deeply for the queen, and tries his best to control the lords' impertinent tongue.

(clears throat, as if to interrupt - maybe comedically) What Lord Wilthas is trying to say is that we are losing coin due to Lord Dascan's bold steps into and, effectively, against our lands.
(gentle pleading) Your majesty, surely you must understand the gravity of the situation. This is so much more than mere squabble between two lords and their land.
(clears throat, half-panicked) Yes! I will definitely take your suggestion, my queen. Lord Wilthas still has much to learn, and I will change my strategies going forward. I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused, and I thank you for your time. (beat) (heartfelt, as if to an old friend) It has been good to see you again, my queen.
