A veteran of the war that occurred years before the main characters were born, James lost his parents during the conflict, leaving him a poor orphan with no choice but to fend for himself.

Despite his struggles, James has grown into a compassionate and loyal young man. He is a few years older than the main characters, starting season 1 at 22 and turning 23 by the season's end. His experience, maturity, and resilience make him an invaluable ally. Near the end of season 1, James steps into a more prominent role by joining the knights on a vital mission to arrest Ivan and Kyle and to thwart Lord Vance’s plans. His courage and determination shine in these pivotal moments.
