Finley's uncle, brother to Mrs. Leichten, and son to Mr. Leichten.

An older, bitter man with two children of his own, however he never married and their mother passed during childbirth. This left him with the option of either taking the illegitimate twins in as his own, or leaving them to grow up on the streets in an orphanage. He chose to bear the social stain of treating them as if they weren't bastard children rather than leaving them to uncertainty in an orphanage. Albrecht has an air of refinement about him, and he is well educated. Like his sister he also has the presence of a German accent, but not as thick as his Father's. He and his sister's accents have faded a bit over the years.
Despite a cold facade, he isn't a cruel person. Albrecht does have his moments where his heart is shown to be in a good place.

  • [coldly] You're lucky to be where you are, boy. I wouldn't test my limits were I you.

  • [frustrated] How can you do this? Are you so blind as to really value something as pretentious as that?

  • [quietly, almost sad] Come, boys. It's best we leave, you needn't listen to these fools. They only care to hear themselves and no one else. No need to give them the luxury of your attention.

I really liked your voice, but I have to admit the accent is just a little too thick to not sound forced. I'd like to ask if you could reread these lines for me, just a little bit more relaxed? Other than that your audition sounded great!

Alright, I'll see what I can do. If I may ask, how do you suggest I sound less "forced"? I am relatively new to acting and I am looking for critique!

Of course, just don't think too much about it and relax. The main aspect you should focus on is the throatiness that native german speakers typically have, so just think of it as speaking from the back of your throat
