About Gil

Gillian is a bartender at VA-11 Hall-A with a mysterious past. He is known to occasionally disappear for a few days, but is otherwise a dependable employee of VA-11 Hall-A. He comes across as matter of fact and competent, although he can be taken by surprise.

Voice

I don't really imagine Gil to have a particularly special-sounding voice, as he admittedly isn't an overly remarkable guy. I would say off the top of my head I wouldn't mind a medium ranged voice for him, maybe a little gruff too...? An average natural tone of voice should work just fine. Other than that, feel free to try anything! Since there's no real canon voices for them, there aren't any limits!

  • Let's go through the basics then, just in case, shall we?

  • Two flying cars crashed and went boom. That's why it was so noisy.

  • What about i- OH MY GOD! How?! Why?! W-How?!

Just saying, but some of the different takes for the same line sounded the same - is it worth keeping duplicates in? (Damn good otherwise tho)

    How DARE you question the subtle changes- Well, okay, I may have been a bit TOO similar in a couple of takes, haha. Typically speaking, it's best to make each take different in some noticeable way, whether it be inflection, pitch, or whatever. The point of multiple takes is to show off your range, so submitting a bunch of identical takes would be silly, haha. Tl;Dr ...Don't be like me in this audition. ;)
