The Moths In The Attic
s-crutchfeild for Daniels, Weston
Weston Daniels is a horologist, and a friend of the Liechten family. He inherited his store and workshop from his father, and spent his youth playing in the shop with his childhood friend Finley. He's a few years older than Finley, and his maturity shows.
[rather techinical] Horology is the study of time, my friend. Measuring the movement of passing moments and quantifying the progression of the world we live in. Yet despite its mathematical properties time can never be subtracted, and the addition of the minutes ticking by can never be undone. It is quantifiable yet intangible with a stubborn permanence.
[fuming and resentful] Don't you insult me! Take your whimpering elsewhere, I don't want it. It's simply pathetic.
[remorseful] I'm so sorry. You must forgive me- I let my resentment for certain circumstances get the better of me. I should never have taken it out on you... I'm so ashamed. I'm.... undeserving of your forgiveness.
I really enjoyed hearing your audition! All I can say to add onto it is I wish I could have heard a bit more strength behind the angry line, but it still sounded great. Thanks for auditioning :)
