As the sole survivor of the crash, rescued by the previous lighthouse keeper, Silas is haunted by the past and is determined to keep it buried.

(Confident, determined) "This is the Elysium. She’s my life, my world… everything important that’s happened in my life, happened here."
[Sneering.] “I’m exactly what you see. Flesh and blood, bound to this place like the rest of them. The price I paid… the choices I made, they’ve kept me here.” [His face twists with something darker, more primal.] “I endured it all. I survived.”
