Douglas grew up surrounded by wealth and prestige, but turned his back on the aristocratic life to forge his own path. Cheerful, theatrical, and wildly optimistic, he dives into every new scheme with wide-eyed energy—often dragging Charlie along whether he likes it or not. While he doesn’t quite know where he’s headed, Douglas is sure it’ll be fabulous!

- Medium-high pitch with a bright, buoyant timbre. Douglas is all in, all the time.
- Accent is open to interpretation—General American works, but hints of possible European roots are welcome.

(Popping up behind Charlie) Charlie! ("Douglas, why?") Oops, sorry. Guess I'm just excited to see you! But hey, why so glum, chum? ("Oh, just lost another job") *joyful gasp* No way! Me too! That makes us, like, job-loss twins! ("You know that's a bad thing, right?") *scoffs* Bad, shmad. We always bounce back. You know, maybe this just means something even better is waiting for us!
(Slowly getting more and more excited) Oh, come on! You just need some cheering up first. You know what cheers me up? Ice cream! Or... karaoke! Or—oh! Pancakes! With. PEANUT BUTTER! That ALWAYS helps!
(Working a jackhammer) (optimistic, cautious) Okay… just a little tap—(Coaxing) C’mon, don’t be shy. (Jackhammer suddenly turns on, zooming Douglas around) (sudden panic, rapidly vibrating) NONONONONONO—MAKE IT STOOOP! I’M NOT CERTIFIED FOR THIS!! SOMEONE HEELP MEEE—! (falls off building, distant, fading) AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaa—!
The reason why i decided to go for this project is because I think it would a lot of fun! I've always wanted to be in this style of animation since it really provides no holds bared for what the actor can do. you can be as goofy as you want, within reason of course! That is why i decided to audition for both Charlie Horse and Douglas Dog. Charlie I just vibe with because I've been in his shoes once or twice and really do know how it feels! As for Douglas, he is just the epitome of dog boy/golden retriever energy XD
