Clover's Soliloquy: An Undertale Yellow Epilogue - Casting Call
Lagging Leland for Starlo
A nerdy star-headed monster with a fascination for Wild West culture, a tendency to pronounce “duel” as “dual,” and a desire to keep those around him in upbeat spirits despite their grim situation. To do so, he’s decided to don the “North Star” persona, acting as the brave, friendly, and justice-seeking sheriff of the Dunes region in the Underground, keeping it safe alongside his posse: “The Feisty Five.” Though, how much crime there is remains unclear as the majority of what they’ve stopped was for show and entertainment. Even in his confident sheriff persona, it’s clear he seeks validation from others that what he’s doing is right, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get swept up in the drama and theatrics of his role, especially in his dedication to raise the spirits of his childhood best friend: Ceroba. Whether he’s regular old Starlo or brave Sheriff “North Star,” he consistently has the best intentions and a heart of gold to boot.
Direction: As “North Star,” his voice is in the mid to low pitch range with a gravelly but upbeat quality to it, and it should sound like he’s trying to do a stereotypical Western accent or a Clint Eastwood impression. In his normal voice, Starlo still maintains some of the accent, but his voice is overall much softer and retains little of that gravel.
Note: Starlo will have more lines than other characters.

(Misguided anger, “North Star” persona) Don’t… don’t make this difficult for me. Just hold… still!
(Oblivious, “North Star” persona) I was just gonna ask you to sell a gun to this child!
(Ashamed, Starlo voice) I’m not a real sheriff… just some nobody farmer.
