About Jazeel
Jazeel is an African American from the city. Kiante convinced him they should take up farming. Although he wasn't born into it, Jazeel is growing accustomed to the lifestyle. Unlike Kiante, Jazeel sees their alpacas as livestock and is less emotionally attached to them. Jazeel and his husband gave up their lives in the city to start an alpaca farm.

Jazeel is somber and a bit self-serious. He's not as outwardly expressive as Kiante, but he is still a very attentive and caring partner.

I think you're being a little dramatic. Do you really think a dead tree burst through the barn wall like the Kool-Aid man and pulled a whole- ass alpaca through the wall? It's preposterous! Never mind the fact Ginger was basically cut in half. Do you think it has teeth too? Even a lion would have to work to cut up an alpaca like that. It just doesn't make sense.
(Exasperated) They're just trees, Key. Dead trees. And that's... just a pile of branches.

Howzit, I'm a local boy from Hilo on the Big Island now living in the Bay Area, who grew up on TV and movies and learned how people elsewhere sounded and acted from them. In college, I planned to pursue a career in voiceover but got hooked on the stage and graduated with a B.A. in speech, attended acting school in NYC, and ended up a professional children's and classical theatre actor then eventually a large-group educational presenter for a university science museum, traveling to schools all over Northern and Central CA and beyond for two decades. I've also done radio commercials and audio drama I'm quite proud of, and am now in the process of building a dedicated VO career.

As for what I can do, in both stage and voice acting I've sometimes referred to myself as the "leftover guy." Others are cast for whatever roles they're appropriate for but whatever is left? "Give it to Randal; he can play anything." While that's clearly impossible, I'm willing to give it a shot because I pride myself on my versatility, adaptability, and aptitude for direction—attributes developed through long years of performing and presenting for more young audiences, at more venues, with more parents, teachers, principals, and school staff than I can possibly remember.

I was sometimes asked if I really enjoyed what I was doing as much as I appeared to, and I'd always say, "I get paid to have FUN. When it stops being fun, I'll stop doing it." For personal reasons and, y'know, the pandemic, I did stop doing it, but the work itself? It never stopped being fun. NEVER. And if I'm fortunate enough to work with you, I sincerely hope that fun continues. A big mahalo in advance should that happen.
