Dorian's Story
He was a former wearer of the cowl and grew such immense power that he thought he was above the cowl and was basically a god and took it upon himself to hand pick the wearer of the cowl wearer and only choosing the most worthy of it. Until one day a cowl wearer saw his madness within his power and entrapped him with a ritual awaiting to be released and become the guardian of the cowl once again.
Things you need to understand Dorian's character.
Dorian is not misunderstood or a evil man for a reason he is what he is knowing his place in the world and the amount of power he wields and how to use it.
Due to his immense power he is mostly a cool calm and collected confident character but when you get on his nerves he isnt afraid to completely demolish and unleash his anger upon you.
(Cool and collected) You may have found the cowl it does not mean you deserve to wear it.
(Basking)Better men before you have worn and died in the cowl, only few have earned it.
(Maniacal)You've been through hell and back but you haven't basked in it. YOU HAVEN'T FACED IT, YOU HAVE LEARNED FROM IT BUT YOU ARE TO SCARED TO CONTROL IT... HOLD IT IN YOUR HANDS.
I was going for a Master Arngier type of tone with this take.
