An odd girl surrounded in mystery. She behaves in a very kind and welcoming manner, but the local townspeople treat her with animosity and fear. Making her home at the supposedly haunted mansion on the hill that had up to recently been abandoned doesn’t exactly help her case either. Regardless, she is more than happy to welcome people into her home and will happily treat them to a meal and night’s rest… as long of course, as they don’t go snooping around.

  • “Welcome friends to The House Magnolia. I came to hear this house was under disrepair, and being the Botanist I am, I couldn’t allow such a fate for this place, so I made a point to renovate it. I hope you enjoy your stay.”

  • “I see you have found yourself in the Conservatory. I’m sure you were brought here by the smell of the Rhododendrons. They were the Mistress Magnolia’s favorite. She could spend up to hours in here just intoxicated with their smell.”

  • “I tried to warn you. I was kind, I was welcoming, and even informative. Clearly, that isn’t why you came though. I’m afraid there’s only one course of action now that you have seen this though,”

Forgive a few errors, audacity glitched out for some reason.

A couple notes first. 1) Magnolias and Mongolia are two very different things. Magnolias are an ancient flower with a tear-drop like bloom to them. Mongolia is a sovereign nation between Russia and China wherein Genghis Khan was born. 2) Your pronunciation of Rhododendrons sounds like the name of a rejected Transformer. It's actually pronounced phonetically. Row-duh-den-drun. They're fragrant burst-blooming flowers mostly found around Asia. Extremely pretty. Most of Dahlia's theming centers around flowers. Your audition wasn't bad at all by the way, they were just very humorous mistakes I felt like addressing. In fact, It would be my pleasure to extend you a Callback for the part of Dahlia. You can find a bit more info on this in the last couple updates. In preparing for the additional material, brush up on your flower pronunciations. :P There's faaaar more where those came from. As well, practice getting a bit more threatening. Dahlia is very nice, but once crossed, she is very frightening.
