Fallout New Vegas mod: Lights, Camera... Anarchy
Carsona-Dubs for Cheddar
Profile: Once a regular guy, now a ghoul cast as a “feral” for a wasteland film project. Cheddar is bitter about the world’s perception of ghouls and deeply unimpressed with being treated like a freak. He’s got a temper but is no mindless brute — he wants to be seen as a person, not a prop. His trust is hard to earn, but once it’s there, it’s real.
Voice type: Ghoul. Gravelly, worn down, low-to-mid pitch. Dry and cynical but with moments of surprising sincerity.
Vocal traits: Raspy voice typical of ghouls, but Cheddar has more control — his sarcasm is sharper than his claws.
Key notes:
Needs a classic ghoul rasp but with emotional nuance.
Sarcasm and defiance are key — his lines often carry bite.
Eager and passionate
Number of lines: 24 (6 lines are for generic ghoul actors)
Line prompts:
- [the courier has located Cheddar and his friends in Freeside. It's the courier's task to recruit them for the show. He’s disappointed, insulted, and trying not to lose it. His tone is biting, sarcastic, but there’s real hurt beneath it.]
previous line: Courier - It’s physical work. Think less dialogue, more... snarling menace. - [Back in the bunker the courier overhears an argument between the producer and Cheddar. The producer wants Cheddar to wear a ghoul mask. Cheddar’s reached boiling point. He was promised authenticity — now he’s being hidden. He’s defiant, voice raised but still sharp, not unhinged.]
previous line: Danny Benton - It’s just a touch of movie magic! You three look great, but we need to sell it to the audience! The masks help with the realism. - [During the scene Cheddar is about to get his big break, and delivers an impressive feral impression (which uses the vanilla sound effect), he then gets shot by ambushing Fiends. He's in shock.]
previous line: Byron Hawthorne - Great, great, love the tension! Now, cue the ghoul attack!

You’re joking?... My big break - the one shot I’ve been waiting for - and you want me to stumble around grunting like an idiot?
Oh, realism, is it? You dragged us down here because we look the part, then tell us we’re not ‘feral enough’? That we need to hide our faces?
Arghh! What the fuck?! I’ve been shot, like for real!
