I am looking for both male and female auditions for this role.
Lieutenant Li Yu Bei is one of the several number twos of the Dynasty military. Their belief in the emperor and meritocracy that the dynasty stands for is almost unparalleled. They would sooner sacrifice everything than feel the shame of dishonoring the emperor or the righteousness in themselves. They have worked endlessly to be where they are, and they work their post with pride.
They are professional, unwavering, but also have a deep humility.
He/she is from the dynasty, a meritocratic empire. I prefer an Asian-esque accent, but I will be accepting auditions without it as well.

There was a larger plot. The crew employed some kind of brain-controlling weapon — manipulated one of ours into letting them pass through the underbelly right after the skirmish started. I believe they orchestrated the skirmish to find illegal passage. (Olin Shang reng says: Hmm. And why not send an officer to inform me of this?) Because I was the manipulated fool sir.
