Meet Manami Kawaguchi, the Ultimate SFX Artist. Manami has a love for special effects and has had an interest ever since she was in grade school. She loved the concept of fake gore and how it would play out in a movie, whether it’s a thriller, horror, or straight-up slasher movie. She began pursuing her interest as soon as she got her first lessons in SFX when she was nine, and after that, she began to improve so much throughout the years that she even got to help out in makeup effects in a horror TV show series she used to love to watch.
