Lanshui is Qingsongs right hand man, being best friends since childhood, but he always feels worthless as Qingsong is always getting more attention than him. He feels unvalidated and nervous.

He is quiet and usually hides away in the background unless there are very few people, or he is alone with Qingsong.

He is like the underdog, usually saving/ assisting more people than Qingsong, but due to his nervous nature, he lets others take the credit.

Lanshui would never admit that he hates being looked down upon, but he's accepted this is his life, he's hoping that if he meets Liushui, she would see some sort of worth in him.

He never gets respected, even by the group he travels in.
