Whisper, like many of the Main Sonic Characters and the Core IDW-only characters are largely unchanged in the AU, outside of any event/Arc changes to move the AU plot forward.
In this universe, Marshall after joining the Restoration develops a family style relationship with the Diamond Cutters, becoming a Sibling figure for Whisper, Tangle, Lanolin and Silver who all regard Marshall as a younger brother to them.

Everything about this sounds Great! The only Critique would be the second line (which I technically should have specified more Context for) which is essentially supposed to be referring to the panel in Metal Virus when Tangle is standing over Whisper, ready to infect her, and this line is meant to be her just at her wits end trying to appeal to Tangle's hopeful inner humanity, if that makes sense?
