Orien Kasringer is a product of war. Born on Planet Kosmere and raised amidst bloodshed, he lost his entire family at a young age, consumed by the very conflict that now defines his generation. War is all Orien has ever known — it molded him, hardened him, and taught him survival at the cost of humanity. But beneath the cocky smirks and sharpened blades lies someone more complicated.

Orien may be the second possible Chosen One — a bearer of the mythical “Herb,” just like Alfritz — but he doesn’t know it yet.
