Infinite (formerly known as Zero the jackal), is (alongside Eggman) the main villain of this story. He was the leader of his own mercenary squad, they were contracted by Eggman to help protect his main base of operations at the time, before Shadow raided it, giving him a beatdown that changed his life forever. Because of this, Zero abandoned his squad and took over the identity of Infinite, the whielder of the Phantom Ruby. Infinite tends to treat Zero as a completely different entity, as he sees his past self as a weakling, often describing him with the world worthless, the same word Shadow called him. Infinite's only objective is to show his "superiority" and impose fear upon others, due to this, he can get genuinely mad when someone "dares" to challenge him or puts up a good fight.
