Tangle, like many of the Main Sonic Characters and the Core IDW-only characters are largely unchanged in the AU, outside of any event/Arc changes to move the AU plot forward.
In this universe, Marshall after joining the Restoration develops a family style relationship with the Diamond Cutters, becoming a Sibling figure for Whisper, Tangle, Lanolin and Silver who all regard Marshall as a younger brother to them.
