OFFICIAL CHARACTER BIO: Akataro Ueki, the Ultimate Photojournalist, is the main character (and antagonist) of DR:SAR alongside Minami Enokizono. He is an overly egotistical, arrogant, and sharp-tongued aspiring detective who is (unfortunately) as good as he says he is. He is a realist at heart, being straightforward with his words and opinions rather than sugar-coating them, as he has a hatred for those with a little too much optimism for his liking. He doesn't take a lot of things too seriously unless he's backed into a corner, and he has a knack for pissing off the wrong people. He has a tendency to get defensive quickly, especially when it's revolving things about him.
VOICE REQUIREMENTS: His voice should be medium-deep and masculine, and should have a laid-back yet still loud and arrogant flair to it. Must be able to shout and/or project your voice to some capacity, and must be comfortable with occasional cursing. Must be able to be expressive with certain lines.

So I just settled for this lousy talent…I basically do what a detective does, and I’m damn good at it.”
(Angry and Defensive) “B-Bum?? Now listen here, friend—I do use that word lightly—I had a GOOD reason to keep quote-on-quote ‘bothering’ you! I have exactly what it takes to be a good detective, and I TRIED to get your help! I even have all the evidence to prove that she’s missing for REAL!”
(Defensive, yet a little nervous and self-cautious) “I’m a photojournalist! Not a photographer! A-And why does everyone say that?? What’s wrong with my outfit??" "...Don't answer that."
