BACKGROUND

Acting as the head of the United Multiplanetary Defense Confederation, High Commander Kalythar Falco is a confident, charismatic Yvangeloid who has headed all government affairs for the past 20 years. Though generally accepted as a respectable and fair commander, Kalythar is directly responsible for a multitude of highly classified military atrocities, opting to cover up his crimes against the galaxy rather than solving the issues they've caused effectively.
After one of his worst mistakes escapes containment and begins devouring soldiers en masse, Kalythar makes the decision to cut a year of the Royal Meridian Defense Academy's military training programs, in an effort to get more soldiers on deck to try and combat the situation.

Kalythar is Kodai Falco's father, having had him with a woman of another species. Though he does love his son, his rather harsh opinion of halflings often clouds the way he sees him, and colours how he treats him; Kalythar raised Kodai under the belief that, as a halfling, society would never accept him, thus encouraging him to keep his true genealogy under wraps and pretend he was, instead, of one species. He places extreme pressure on his son to live up to his legacy.
