Tone: Lani is a charismatic and clever woman who joins as an intern around the same time as Harith. The two becomes fast friends where his faith and her dry humor make a good match for each other. She is sharp, funny, a little guarded, and always deeply perceptive.
(Dry, sarcastic, maybe annoyed) "Project: Seraphim? You mean the Angel in a cage? Yeah. Super normal internship."
(Comforting Harith- Reassuring, slightly self deprecating) "It's okay, everyone cries their first week. I just did it in the airlock where no one could hear me."
(Quiet, cautious, like she's seen it happen.) "You think it's just research at first. But then you start to dream about him. And when that happens? It's already too late."
