Connor Reese is a volatile and intimidating presence at school. His bullying is both verbal and physical — he's known to shove kids into lockers, trip them in hallways, and throw punches when things don’t go his way. Most students avoid confronting him because the school turns a blind eye, and he’s terrifying when provoked.

Since Bergs' death, Connor has gotten worse. He mocks the memorials, calls grief “drama,” and goes out of his way to antagonize Avery, especially when Avery isolates himself. Whether it’s jealousy, guilt, or pure rage, Connor zeroes in on vulnerability and tears it open.

He’s the one who defaced Bergs’ locker — not because he truly hated him, but because seeing others love and remember Bergs forces Connor to confront how alone he feels. He lashes out as a defense.

Connor is the catalyst for a major fight that divides the group and nearly breaks Avery. He’s a villain — but a realistic one, shaped by neglect, anger, and deep insecurity.
