Terror at Camp Roanoke
Luke W. Shepherd for Richard Ancok
Richard Ancok is the primary antagonist of the historical backstory to our tale. He seeks wealth and power in the "New World" and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Throughout these fragments of the past, he will be slowly but surely losing his sanity. If you audition for this role, be aware of that. His tone and voice will slowly descend into madness along with him as the power he weilds leads him to take darker and darker steps.
I'm imagining a younger male individual with a hint of British accent to his voice, although an early American accent is equally appropriate.

The voyage has concluded, and we find ourselves upon the shores of this "New World."
(Frustrated) We are sitting ducks! And his reasoning! To sail all the way back across that treacherous ocean, risking storms and Spanish dogs, when the solution lies practically at our feet!
(Starting to lose his sanity, speaking his poetry) Fourteen they were, when Drake did sail, a meager flock indeed, But one by one, the darkness calls, and plants a fatal seed.
