Monokuma is a black and white bear who runs the school, keeping the students trapped inside the school. He is always trying to induce despair into the students, setting up motives for the killing game.

He gets excited when mentioning or talking about anything involving death, obvious by his dark nature.

  • I. Am. Monokuma! I am the headmaster of this academy!

  • Upupu... despair is what I want, that's all...
