Okabe is a self-proclaimed mad scientist who goes by "Hououin Kyouma". Okabe is a melodramatic, eccentric, and rarely tsundere individual. His voice sounds, I suppose, like any old guy (if that guy's a respectable intellectual... and delusional), but he must have a good mad scientist laugh and a very dramatic voice when being Hououin Kyouma. These will all be demonstrated in the lines below.

UPDATE: I realize now how hard it is to pronounce Okabe's fake name. Of course, if people watched the anime, they'd know, so I'm lead to suspect that not many auditioners actually know who they're auditioning for, but nonetheless, it is pronounced "Ho-een kee-oh-ma"

  • (Not angry, more amused that Mayuri still likes children's toys. Like a gentle let down.) Do I look like an ATM to you? Too bad, so sad, Greedy Gus. Life lesson.

  • (Almost giddy with excitement, make sure to do a good evil laugh) Just imagine all the gloriously wicked experiments we can get off the ground with ten thousand yen in the coffers! Mwhahahaa!

  • (A very dramatic voice, speaking as Hououin Kyouma, the mad scientist) You are speaking to member double-oh-one. Lab founder, evil genius, and mad scientist extraordinaire. ‘tis I, Hououin Kyouma! (Ho-een kee-oh-ma)
