Luka's father often argued with him about his manga supplies, leading to frequent disagreements. One day, after his father removed all his art materials, Luka was sketching outside when he met Yuki, who admired his art. This encounter marked the beginning of their friendship, which Luka cherished despite his father's rule against befriending those deemed inferior.

Luka displays a certain level of authority and outspokenness, attributed in part to his status as the offspring of a renowned zaibatsu, which affords him a degree of influence. Despite harboring apprehension towards Tao's composed yet intimidating demeanor, Luka possesses a grounded nature, particularly in matters concerning his sole confidant, Yuki.
