In this parallel existence, Richard Nixon successfully covered up the impending Watergate scandal, having Woodward and Bernstein assassinated by Edward Blake/The Comedian before any word got out. It is also heavily implied Edward Blake/The Comedian assassinated John F. Kennedy - but on whose order isn't revealed.
Nixon also successfully ended the Vietnam war with the help of superhuman Dr. Manhattan - Americas greatest weapon against their enemies.
After his second term in the Oval Office, Nixon created a new law allowing a president to run for three terms in a row in the United States.

What a wonderful performance, Salvador! I was immediately struck by how similar your vocals were to the real Nixon - all the while never sounding like a quick SNL impression of the man.
