Jeong-hwa is a Korean-American medical doctor and mother of Jenny and Susie (throughout the story she's referred to as "Mom"). She and her husband immigrated from South Korea to the United States. Her daughters were both born in the U.S. A typical “tiger mom” who has excessively high expectations of her two daughters. Because of this, she constantly compares her two daughters and favors the one that performs better.

VO note: Voice actresses of Korean (or Asian) descent encouraged to audition. Character can either speak with a Korean accent or American west coast accent, depending on chosen VA’s preference and/or ability to perform with a Korean accent. • (serious, fed up) Get ready. I’m not going to ask a third time. Also, stop playing with your phone when someone’s talking to you. It’s not polite. (sighs) Sometimes I don’t know what to do with you.

  • (genuine/condescending) Why can’t you be more like your sister?

  • (yelling) Jenny! Turn the lights back on!
