Elsen is the main character's closest friend and his second-in-command. He's the type of person who would charge into a battle, not caring about his opponent's strengths, and his weaknesses. He'll fight, no matter what. An example of this is when he charged in with his starter gear to an enemy with powerful armor and weaponry around the first episode.
