Elira was driven by curiosity and a desire to help her people, but as her studies grew darker, so too did her intentions. She discovered a ritual that promised immortality and unearthly abilities—an ancient pact that would bind her soul to a demon in exchange for power. Desperate and blinded by her ambition, Elira chose to forsake her humanity. She completed the ritual, binding herself to a powerful demon lord, and her mortal form was consumed by the darkness.
