One of the six Robot Masters Mega Man faces on his adventure, Fire Man is an incinerator robot designed to promote waste reduction before be reprogrammed by Dr. Wily.
Fire Man has a firey, hard sense of justice and sees himself as a sort of hero, in a sense. While steadfast in his convictions when he believes his actions are just, he does begin to doubt himself when shown otherwise.
