The Legend of Zelda: Dance With Me (Audiodrama)
D Tyler Fultz for Elwyn (Link's Father || Secondary Role)
Secondary Role
Elwyn is father to Link, a retired disabled knight who lost his leg in battle many years ago. He is a father of three, though one of his sons already died in battle. Link and Aryll are who remain, and he fears for them constantly, but understands their decisions are their own. While he was a knight, and understands how the kingdom works, he's not afraid to challenge King Rhoam when it comes to the safety of his children.

Older, retired knight. He’s got that air of stoicism behind his voice, but he’s now just a laid back retired man. He can, however, get loud when it comes to his children.

Line 1: (Worried, scared, but holding it back under sternness thanks to his knightly past. Has a slight comfort in his voice as he talks to his wife.) "That’s his home, Raina. We can’t do anything for him here. But the castle? They have the finest medicines. They’ll be treating him with the same potions they’ll be giving the princess. We have to let him go. And look at them; you know he’d choose to go back with her. He would risk his life for her; he’d want to go back with her. He’ll never be safe. He’s a Knight of Hyrule. You and I, of all people, know the sacrifices we pay for that honor."
Line 2: (Exhausted, having not sleep out of worry for his son. Guilty he was caught listening in, but thankful to what his son’s voice.) "Princess… I’m sorry to have listened in, but he was awake and I just…needed to hear him. I’ve been listening ever since he mentioned he remembered being a father in a previous life. I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have listened to such a private conversation. It’s just… He’s my son."
Line 3: (Kind, caring. He sees Zelda as family. A comforting tone as he speaks with Zelda, as they are both going through hard time.) "Raina and Aryll should arrive later tonight. Raina loves you as her own, Aryll wants to ask you about the palace, and you and I have become good companions in this. You’re more than welcome: you’re encouraged to join us. If you were sick, and the only visitor you had was His Majesty, and Link stayed away because he wanted you to have family time, would you not want to send the King away? Trust me, he’ll be glad to kick us out in favor of time with you."
Again with the range, man! You make each voice sound so different and its amazing. I love the emotion you gave Elwyn on the "It's just...he's my son." Again, just knocking each audition out the park!
