The Trial of Danganronpa: Law & Order - Additional Voice Actors
AriesfireVO for Wataru Echigo
(wa - tar - roo, aye - chee - go)
The Chief Prosecutor is certainly no slouch, but he seemingly appears more out of his depth than he'd like others to let on. Wataru rose to the top of the legal ladder through hard work and tenacity, having been a mentor to the Ultimate Prosecutor himself. Holding a good bond with the executives of Law & Order Offices, the elite legal firm owned by the Chief Justice, Wataru is given a lot of power that he often does not know what to do with. Keeping a stern and determined attitude in public, people don't see what this man is like behind the curtain, even if many of them whisper about the many rumours concerning his apparent corruption. The legal system has been in doubt for years, and Wataru believes that he can be the one to set it right again with the introduction of the Ultimate Jury. Following the lockdown at Tokyo High Court, he has no qualms stepping up as a leader to see things through to the end.
Voice Description: Low-medium male voice. Whilst he seems prideful, it's clear that there's a sense of self-doubt always hanging over his head. Aims to properly prove himself as the leader he's been made out to be.
Note: This character has been temporarily voiced in the first Jurist Files (audio-drama prequel series) episode, but we are now looking for a permanent voice actor as he has taken a larger role in the story.
(Gracefully.) "Ah, I suppose I need to introduce myself. My name is Wataru Echigo. I'm the district Chief Prosecutor."
(Slightly struck with fear.) "W-Why would they do this to us?! What's the point in trapping us here without any goal?"
(Confident.) "There's no need to worry... if someone must step up, then I'll gladly do it!"
