42 lines over E3, E4, E5 & E6.

Ideally looking for a subtle exotic accent that is hard to place. Something similar to a Bond girl like Sévérine in Skyfall.

Aera is the most prominent role we are auditioning for. She is a very dynamic character that develops a lot throughout the series, serving as the love interest for the main protagonist Gaius. She begins as a strong spirited rebel fighting in the revolution to take back her home-world from a corrupt syndicate, who capture and imprison her. Once freed, we see a tender side to her, as she heals Gaius with a moment of musical magic. The two develop a romance that blossoms into a fairy-tale ending of E3, where their love inspires the revolution and helps to heal the world.

She shows great power and courage when she takes on the syndicate boss Orvas Zharn at the end of E3 in a fierce battle. She defeats him, but sacrifices herself in the process, a noble martyr for the cause. During the battle, Orvas is seen to be possessed by a dark entity which she absorbs before they both die. Through the magic of true loves kiss, Gaius revives her and their love beams abundance throughout the world. All seems to be wonderful, until the next episode.

In E4, Gaius and Aera's romance blossoms and takes centre stage. However there is a growing nervousness about something being off. She yearns to getaway with Gaius just the two of them, which causes tensions with the band. The two have a romantic escape together, which is deeply passionate and sensual under the influence of a strange aphrodisiac potion. She has become a lot more seductive now and convinces Gaius to run away with her to a far away world.

in E5, a year later, we find the couple running a decadent nightclub on a cyberpunk world. They are working with another syndicate and pushing a hard black market potion (drug). Gaius is very weak and Aera is clearly running the show. She has transformed at this point into a wicked seductress, a true femme fatale. When Gaius and Flavour Nurse seek to breakaway from the debauchery, she kills Gaius with a vampires kiss - revealing her vampiric demonic nature.

In E6, Aera is confronted by the band and destroyed in a dramatic twist, with the help of the syndicate boss. The demonic essence writhes from her and it is clear that the resurrected Aera was never truly her, only the demon that possessed her.

Overall Aera's role covers a lot of ground; from a young rebellious hero, to a tender romantic, to a manipulative seductress, to an evil villainous vampire. It's a great character with a lot of depth and we're looking for someone who can convincingly step into this key role.

In terms of features, Aera is a Turalin women - which is a humanoid alien species with grey skin adorned with glowing bio-luminescent markings. The colour of her markings change as she develops through the story.

BONUS: There is a small singing part where the character sings a spell in an alien language, it'll just be some made-up free vocalization that sounds somewhat exotic. It is not essential that you need to sing this part, but a sure bonus if you can.
